Remington Fall Festival 2022

Join us on Saturday, October 8th for the Remington Fall Festival – an autumnal celebration featuring local businesses, craft vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Sound House is contributing two free performances for the day’s festivities. Catch Sound House owner Maddi Mae performing original folk music from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and then catch Sound House students performing indie pop covers and an original indie pop song as The Sunstones from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Formed in January of 2022, The Sunstones feature band leader and bassist Julianne Carr, vocalists Melody Harlan and Jaina Witt, guitarist Cole Kolyer, and drummer Deuce Stith. Follow them on Instagram @TheSunstonesBand.

Music blog Tonic Grain says of Maddi: “The artist opens her heart, and you can hear the disarming vulnerability in these vocal mantras . . . You can’t help but fall in love.”

While there will be 70+ craft vendors and 7 food vendors to visit, you’ll also want to stop by the Sound House booth located directly in front of the studio. We’ll be selling sage green and sky blue t-shirts for $20 and we’ll have brand new stickers (pictured below) available for $5. Remember that all purchases go toward new supplies here at the studio! You’ll also be able to sign up for our new email newsletter, snag brochures and business cards, and take a picture with Sydney the skeleton.

We’d love to see members of the Sound House Community out and about, supporting our little studio in the heart of Remington. If you can’t make it, send this post to a friend who may be interested.
