Join us on Saturday, July 20th at the Remington Community Garden for a free concert from three of the Sound House Community’s premier acts: White Wall, The Sunstones, and Niamh Kierans (with accompaniment from Maddi Mae). The event begins at 4:00 p.m. and music will begin at 5:00 p.m. Feel free to show up early and hangout with the bands.
Last September, our Sound House Community rallied to donate hundreds of pounds of food to the local free pantry. During this concert, we’d like to donate supplies to our local schools. The Remington Community Garden organizers have requested the following items:
- Washable Markers
- Colored pencils (box of 10 or 12)
- Plastic crayon box
- 2″ binders (NOT Trapper Keepers)
- Composition books (NOT spiral)
- Highlighters
- Tissues
- Gallon or quart zip baggies
- Hand wipes
- Hand sanitizer
- Classroom snacks
In addition to music and philanthropy, this event will also feature: the Kaziville food truck (hotdogs), Anita’s Shaved Ice, FRESH on Wheels (health education), Face Painting with Sandy, a watermelon eating contest, water games, yard games, an obstacle course, crafts, and vendors.
